Friendship Groups in SACE and U3A Singapore

FRIENDSHIP GROUPS is an innovative project by SACE and U3A Singapore to foster the development of close-knit relationships amongst its members. With close to 1000 members now, many informal friendship groups had already developed. However often these do not sustain and there is also a danger that a specific groups could become insular and lose sight of the richness of belonging to a wider community. Both commonsense and research has shown that heterogeneous groups are more stimulating, productive and fun. Friendship groups supported by SACE, can benefit from its organisational structure and and resources  which will greatly add to the value and functioning of these friendship groups.
